Rally to Support Parsons Faculty Thurs April 23
A rally to support ACT-UAW 7902 and Parsons Fine Arts faculty will take place Thursday April 23, 12-1PM, directly in front of the New School administration building, 66 West 12th Street (between 5th and 6th Avenues). (IMPORTANT: You are of course free to associate and demonstrate with whomever you wish in your "free" time, attending rallies of this kind included. However, you cannot skip class; in other words lend support to other "workers" when you yourself are to be working

Looks like Unions are back in Vogue
Amazing–now that capitalism isn't looking too healthy, Unions are starting to look good again (only 8% of the workforce in the US is currently unionized, as opposed to one third in the 1950s).
