Welcome to UFCT 1460 Aaila Kaye!

We're thrilled to welcome a Lead Organizer to our UFCT 1460 team!

Aaila Kaye (She/Her) is honored to serve as UFCT 1460’s Lead Organizer (Staff). As a former Staff Organizer for AFT-VT, Aaila led the campaign for Bennington College Faculty, Staff, and Campus Safety to win wall-to-wall union recognition. As a Public School humanities teacher and Rank-and-File organizer, she helped launch a statewide, member-led caucus that contributed to the defeat of mandatory district mergers. She has led program development in nonprofit, electoral, and union campaigns for much of the past decade, and enjoys dancing, DJing, martial arts, and participating in queer community. aailakaye@ufct1460.org
