Cuts to Teaching are Cuts to Learning!

On Wednesday April 29th at 12:30, members held a rally on the lawn at the Pratt Brooklyn campus to demonstrate our power in response to the cuts that Pratt administration is trying to make to adjunct workloads and to the Architecture Writing Program. In addition to great member turnout, students and staff joined us in solidarity, because we all know that cuts to teaching are cuts to learning!!

The rally brought management back to the negotiating table on the issue and won workload stability for many of the adjuncts affected by cuts. However, four of the original adjuncts who spoke out about the cuts are still without their full Spring workload - and some Architecture Writing Program cuts are being implemented.
