ARPT Forum on Friday, September 27th, 2013

1 min read

For many years now, Pratt’s Faculty Union has been holding ARPT Forums to help members better understand our rights in regards to appointment, reappointments, promotion, and tenure. Functioning departmental peer committees are essential to the establishment and protection of these rights, and past ARPT Forums have served to motivate and inform members about their responsibility to maintain healthy peer committees across the Institute. Whether you are a veteran unionist or a new member, attending an ARPT Forum is a great way to strengthen our collective understanding and implementation of our contractual rights.

This semester’s event will take place from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm at Cafe ‘E Vino, 112 DeKalb (between St. Felix & Ashland, 718-855-6222). Cafe ‘E Vino is located 3-4 blocks up from Flatbush Avenue, or just beyond the park, Brooklyn Tech High School and across from the hospital if heading down DeKalb from Pratt Institute.

There is limited space for this event, so please RSVP to Kye Carbone if you are interested in attending.
