Looks like Unions are back in Vogue

Amazing–now that capitalism isn't looking too healthy, Unions are starting to look good again (only 8% of the workforce in the US is currently unionized, as opposed to one third in the 1950s).  Maybe they're finally shaking off their Reagan-esque technicolor dreamcoats. Community College Jobs a Bonus in Recession, Times Claims

This article claims that people losing their jobs are flocking to community colleges to retrain, creating more opportunities for high-qualified academics to obtain part-time jobs, usually earning under 40K,  with no benefits. Here is the link.
